It is with pleasure that Java Holdings announces the acquisition of the Arctic Arrow Group of companies. With operational experience working in some of the toughest climates and conditions in Western Canada, Arctic Arrow has provided industry leading construction solutions to its utility clients in British Columbia, Alberta, the Yukon and Northwest Territories for over 40 years.

With this acquisition, Java continues to bolster its utility presence in Canada with an eye on expansion in to further markets both east and south. The acquisition of the Arctic Arrow Group will add key expertise, equipment and tooling to an expanding utility focused portfolio.

Java would like to announce the appointment of Patricia Briner to the position of President effective immediately. Patricia brings a breadth of experience and history with the Arctic Arrow group which will be invaluable as we expand into new markets and tackle new opportunities. Please join me in congratulating Patricia in her new position.

We are working hard to ensure the safety of our people while continuing to meet the needs of all our clients in these challenging times.

Our work sites and offices remain open as long as it remains safe to do so and we want to assure you of our capability to continue to service our client needs.

While we continue to be available to perform work for our clients, we must operate safely and responsibly in order to maintain employment and economic activity. To this end, Arctic Arrow is implementing extensive preventative measures across its offices and operations in order to safeguard the health of its employees and contractors.

Arctic Arrow has adopted all recommended safe procedures to protect our staff, our clients and subcontractors. We are conducting all meetings and conferences remotely to reduce in person contact. We also have in place protocols to ensure all of our essential business functions will continue to operate.

We will continue to respond to all client matters from our offices, sites and remote locations as required andanticipatenobusinessinterruption. Wewillcontinuetoevaluateandadaptourprotocolsinresponse to the changing conditions.

AAPG repairing Surrey vandalism

“Mounties are investigating after several power poles were cut down with a chainsaw overnight in Surrey, leaving thousands of people without electricity.

BC Hydro said four poles carrying a 60-kilovolt line through the Green Timbers neighbourhood were downed around 1 a.m., triggering an outage for about 6,000 customers in Whalley.”
